Hastings Kickboxing Academy Have joined forces with teaching at the Helenswood Academy, Lead Instructor Carl Denne and head Jennifer Denne worked with the year 6 children helping them in their transition day at the Academy. From junior into senior education and the next step in their lifes and becoming young ladies.
HKA taught 170 young ladies in 7 classes in a short taster of whats to come in year 7 come September. HKA will be back to continue their development at Helenswood.
Self-defence – Self worth – Confidence – Self esteem – Anti bullying – Healthy living – Positive Life style – are just some of the positive aspects that will be covered In class.
Carl denne said.
” I’m incredibly honoured to be asked to work with Helenswood and they have take a strong step forward in helping their students as they are introduced to their school. For years I’ve have been working towards this step that schools and academies should take. I believe this is just he start of something great not just for HKA but for the children of hastings and so rounding areas.
I hope the students of Helenswood come home full of beans and I HOPE they enjoyed today as much as I have. Some truly amazing and inspiring children today.
