Well what a busy night of action for the first big show of the year.
HKA Traveled up to Herne Bay in Kent for the first big show of the year.
First up was Ewan Speer fighting an talented your man who had an 18″ height advanced and towered way above Ewan. This didn’t faze him though and for 3 rounds Ewan didn’t take a back step or stop trying to pressure his man, at the end of the day he was just to tall, Ewan couldn’t pin him down enough to let off his big shots! I’m so proud of this young man. He’s now lost over 14 kgs in just 6/8 months and stuck to the game plan, next time buddy.
George French in his first ever full contact fight for himself and HKA, and WOW what a talented and strong young man we have,
G has only been with us 6 months from moving over from a good friend of ours gym (who has have gone a great job with him so far) George Stopping his man in every round with incredible speed and powerful kicks, finally ended the fight with 10 seconds of the third round with Ref stopping the contest…….Not many believing it was his first match, but George is very talented fighter and trains hard everyday, there is still lots to learn and change but a great start from this young man and has a great future is ahead.
Last up Nick Lelliott-swann VS Daniel Barfoot and from the start it was a great fight and how the first one should of been, for 5 rounds both men where toe to toe! and and varies points either man could of took the fight and they both exchanged big body shots, Heavy Jabs and thundering kicks, I feel If Nick had forced the issue a bit more then it would of changed the out come, at the final bell it was a close fight, Sadly not going are way this time. Split decision in Dans favour.
