HKA superhero day took off raising £1095 in total for CYSTIC FIBROSIS!
Over 12 of children’s Superhero’s visited HKA to help owner Carl Denne raise as much money as they could for CF.
On the day there was face painting, magic balloons, car washing and a raffle HKA also ran many classes throughout the day.
The first class to take place was Self Defence, this is great for all ages as well as the Female only Kickboxing class taken by Catwomen and Mrs Incredible. For the main event, instructor Spiderman along with his superhero friends- Wolverine, the Incredibles and Batman & Robin. Also to join in the fun for the younger ones was Dora the Explorer and Ben 10, both of which took a fun Beginners Kickboxing Class.
Catwomen said “it was a great day, raising money for a worth while cause”.
Instructor Carl Denne would like to thank everyone who helped on the day, it was a great success. This is the first Charity event that HKA has done and is looking forward to the next one.

Both Kim Hall & Sarah Luff were presented with the cheque at the HKA class on 31.3.11 and would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who helped raise the money for our fantastic cause.
This years fundraising is going well with Sophie’s Dad Darren Hall completing the Hastings Half Marathon in 2hr.05mins raising £650 and Batman (Rhodri Luff) & Robin (Paul Sandeman) completing it in 1hr.53mins adding to the funds! Thank you all who donated to the runners for your brilliant efforts!
